The Wilton Thin line trenching spade makes narrow cuts into lawns or soil to bury communication wire, invisible dog fence, irrigation wire, etc. The spade will dig 8"deep and 1/4" wide. Using a rocking motion will widen the trench to accommodate larger items such as conduit or tubing. Is ideal for short runs. Lawn or soil disturbance is minimal compared to digging or trenching machine
